I expected the same here, but the Nova Pro is impressively quiet. You still hear a soft hum, but it’s way less intrusive than others I’ve owned. I’ll be honest — when I ordered the Nova Pro I fully expected the usual problems I’ve had with other budget projectors: flickering screens, blurry corners, or overheating after 20 minutes. I’ve bought a few in the past and they all ended up being more hassle than they’re worth.
But this one actually surprised me. The picture is sharp across the whole screen (finally!), no weird focus issues in the corners. I ran a 2-hour movie straight and there was no overheating or color glitches — which was a first for me. The brightness is decent even in a room that isn’t pitch dark, and the built-in speakers are surprisingly clear for a compact device.
If you’ve been burned by those sketchy dropship projectors before, I get it — I was skeptical too. But this one’s been reliable so far. Definitely feels like I got more than what I paid for.
